Welcome to Pick City, a sports betting Discord server that employs several expert handicappers to effectively cover a bunch of popular sports. I came across this group randomly and noticed something I don’t see frequently – a large number of daily sports picks combined with a very high win rate for the group’s cappers. Naturally, I had to check the community out in detail.
Pick City has been around for a few years now and has already gathered tens of thousands of members, including several thousands of premium members. This comes down to the group employing a bunch of handicappers with decades of combined experience who boast impressive win rates in all major American leagues.
If you want to get into the betting action immediately, you can join Pick City on Whop now. Otherwise, stick around to see what I thought of the group during my time on their Discord server.
But first, let’s talk a bit about the team of cappers at Pick City.
The Pick City team
Pick City was founded in 2022 by “Main Plug”, an expert handicapper who has been betting professionally for many years. He originally launched the group to share his daily plays and bet insights with his members.
However, he quickly found several other professional cappers who wanted to boost the community with their knowledge and expertise. That’s how the Pick City team grew to 8+ analysts who can cover a huge variety of sports.
I find it fascinating that the community has grown to more than 20K members in such a short period. Obviously, Main Plug wanted to build a top betting group, hence the employment of such experienced handicappers. The 130+ five-star reviews on Whop seem to think so, too.
Joining the Discord group
When I joined the Pick City Discord server I first landed in the “TOS” sections, which included all the rules and regulations for the server’s operation. Then, it was time to get started in the “Welcome” section.
Once I read all the terms and first steps, I scrolled down and noticed a very well-organized structure, with every section and channel clearly labeled. In fact, the server is so simple to navigate that it took Main Plug a little over 30 seconds to explain everything in the onboarding video.
In the Premium Welcome section, you’ll also find channels for announcements regarding the Discord group. Don’t forget to set up your notifications under the “Pick Hub” category, too; otherwise, you won’t get notifications whenever your preferred capper posts a new slip.
Daily picks and prop plays
Pick City’s main attraction is split into two different sections: the “Player Props” and the “Moneyline/Spreads”. They’re basically there to distinguish analysts who prefer player prop bets on DFS platforms, like PrizePicks, and those who focus on straight plays and parlays on the moneyline or point spreads.
Each analyst within the community has their own channel to post their plays. In the channel name, they also have the sport (or multiple sports) they specialize in, which I found very handy as it allowed me to focus on the sports and cappers I was interested in.
The team has specialized cappers for all major American leagues, as well as college sports and other options, like tennis and soccer. I’ve been really into the NFL over the past few weeks, so I naturally gravitated towards the group’s NFL cappers.
I was particularly surprised by “Blizzy”, who accompanied every one of his slips with an in-depth analysis describing his entire thought process and considering all factors, including the weather. Every capper ensures their bets are well-researched, though, and also suggests how many units you should risk on each play.
Resources and tracking
Speaking of units, this is another key part of any reputable sports picks community. Pick City has its own bankroll management strategy, which you can find under the “Resources” channel. It’s essential to read through it carefully, especially if you’re a new player, as it’ll give you a better grasp of the concept of units, risk management, and the mental aspect of the game.
Another reason the Pick City team utilizes units for all their bets is to ensure proper tracking of their results. The group is vigilant about tracking all their profits and losses every month through an external public sheet, and they even host a prize tournament to entice them to perform well.
Other resources within the Pick City Discord server include betting algorithms and AI bots, which you can use to study for your own slips. There are also handy cheat sheets for most major leagues that serve a similar purpose.
You can then post your slips in the “Personal Slips” under the “Premium General” section. That’s also where you’ll find the Premium Members’ chat, where I spent quite a bit of time hanging around with other members. There’s also a voice chat if you feel like talking to members instead.
What you get with Pick City

Which membership to purchase
With Pick City, you only need to pay for one membership to unlock access to the entire Discord group. The only thing you need to choose is which price tier you want to purchase. Whatever package you choose, you’ll also be able to access the community’s beginner guide that includes essential betting concepts.
The standard monthly membership comes out to $35, while the weekly bundle costs $15. There’s also an annual package for $333, which saves you a bit of money in the long run. I think the price point is very decent, considering the amount of daily slips and the number of expert handicappers you gain access to.
